02.

A Proven Daily Flow

Each day follows a clear structure that balances riding, recovery, and coaching. Riders always know what they’re working on and why.

03.

Built for All Skill Levels

Riders are grouped by experience so everyone can learn at their own pace from newer riders to experienced racers.

04.

Confidence-First Progression

The focus isn’t on riding harder. It’s on riding smoother, safer, and with more control so confidence builds naturally throughout the week.

Most riders arrive nervous. By Day 5, they leave calmer, more confident, and excited to keep progressing.

Our Most Refined Camp Season Yet

More locations. More structure. More FUN!

In previous years, riders traveled across the country to attend a Moto Academy 5-Day Camp.

For 2026, camps are closer — and better.

We’ve expanded to 25 locations nationwide and refined every part of the experience, from daily flow to coaching structure.

The result is a calmer, clearer, more impactful week on the bike.

This isn’t the same camp as before.
It’s the most intentional version we’ve ever built.

Why Moto Academy Camps Are Different

Because progress shouldn’t be dangerous and real confidence takes structure.

Rider Assessment

Every rider is evaluated so coaches understand their experience, comfort level, and goals.
This allows riders to train at the right pace without pressure, comparison, or being pushed beyond what’s safe or productive.

Safety Comes First—Always

The Moto Academy camps are built around control, balance, and modern technique.
We focus on reducing unnecessary risk so riders can build confidence the right way calm, smooth, and in control.

Structured Skill Progression

Skills are layered step by step throughout the week.
Instead of repeating the same mistakes, riders learn why things work and how to apply them consistently on this track and beyond.

5-Day Camp FAQs

Who are The Moto Academy 5-Day Camps for?

The Moto Academy camps are designed for riders of all skill levels from newer riders to experienced racers. Riders are grouped by experience so everyone can learn at a pace that feels safe, productive, and encouraging.

Is my rider too young or too old for a 5-day camp?

We train riders from approximately 5 years old to 70+. Age matters far less than comfort level and basic riding ability. If a rider can safely control their bike, we can usually accommodate them.

Do riders need to be advanced or race regularly?

No. Many riders attend specifically to build confidence, improve fundamentals, and stop guessing on the bike. Racing experience is never required.

How are riders grouped during camp?

Riders are grouped by skill level, not age, using a simple color system so everyone can train at the right pace.
• Green Group – Newer or less experienced riders focused on basic skills, balance, and control (typically wheels on the ground).
• Blue Group – Riders gaining confidence who may be starting to jump or get small amounts of air.
• Orange Group – Faster, more experienced riders, including many racers, working on refining technique and consistency.
• Red Group – Advanced and pro-level riders, including A-class and top youth racers.

Each group is supported by a head coach plus 1–2 assistant coaches, keeping the rider-to-coach ratio high. Riders may move between groups during the week as they progress or if coaches feel a change is needed for safety or development.

Is this camp safe?

Safety is a core priority. Coaching emphasizes balance, control, and modern technique not pushing limits or “sending it.” Riders progress gradually, and unnecessary risk is actively avoided.

What does a typical day look like?

Each day follows a structured rhythm:
• On-bike riding sessions
• Off-bike coaching and discussion
• Breaks for rest, hydration, and recovery

This balance helps riders absorb what they’re learning instead of getting overwhelmed.

Is this one-on-one coaching?

Camps are group-based, but riders receive individual moments of coaching throughout the week. Coaches rotate attention intentionally so every rider is seen, supported, and guided.

What bikes are allowed?

Most dirt bikes are welcome, including:
• 50cc–500cc
• Electric bikes
• Minibikes and adventure bikes

No quads or street bikes. Bikes must be mechanically sound and appropriate for the rider.

Do riders need special equipment?

Riders must have standard motocross safety gear (helmet, boots, chest protection, etc.). A detailed gear checklist is sent after registration.

Can parents or spectators attend?

Yes. Parents and family members are welcome to observe. Many parents appreciate seeing how coaching is delivered and how confidence builds throughout the week.

Do riders get breaks during the day?

Yes. Camps are intentionally structured to avoid burnout. Riders rotate between riding and coaching so they can rest, hydrate, and mentally reset.

What if my rider gets tired or overwhelmed?

That’s common especially early in the week. Coaches adjust expectations and pace as needed. Riders are never forced to ride beyond what’s productive or safe.

Will this help with confidence and fear?

Yes, this is one of the biggest reasons families attend. Camps are designed to help riders feel calmer, more in control, and more confident through understanding, not pressure.

Do riders improve in just five days?

Most riders experience noticeable changes in confidence, technique, and awareness. Progress looks different for everyone, but riders consistently leave with clearer direction and tools they can keep using.

Do I need to commit right now?

No. This page is here to help you learn more and see if a The Moto Academy camp feels like the right fit. Camp details, locations, and next steps are available when you’re ready.

Still have questions?

You’ll have a chance to ask questions and get full camp details before making any decisions.
